Jaswant Thada is a beautiful marble cenotaph located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Built in 1899 by Maharaja Sardar Singh in memory of his father Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, it serves as a royal cremation ground of the Marwar rulers. Made entirely of white marble, the monument is known for its delicate carvings, domes, and polished stone that glows softly in sunlight. Surrounded by peaceful gardens and a small lake, Jaswant Thada reflects the architectural elegance and royal heritage of Rajasthan and is often called the “Taj Mahal of Marwar.”
