Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, formerly Rajasthan Ayurved University, is an Ayurved university in the state of Rajasthan, India. The university situated in Jodhpur was founded on 24 May 2003. This university affiliates about 42 colleges/institutions. It conducts a joint entrance test for admission into its various degree programs. The university’s constituent colleges includes ayurved, homoeopathic, unani, yoga and naturopathy colleges. The campus is located at Karwar, Jodhpur on Jodhpur–Nagaur highway on over 322 acres (1.30 km2). Abhimanyu Kumar was appointed vice chancellor in 2019. Ayurvedic medicine and homeopathy are considered pseudoscientific because their premises are not based on science.

National Law University, Jodhpur (NLUJ) is a public law school and a National Law University established under the National Law University, Jodhpur, Act, 1999 enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature. The university was established for the advancement of learning, teaching, research and diffusion of knowledge in the field of law.It is one of the autonomous law schools in India. The university is recognised by the Bar Council of India,as well as the University Grants Commission under Section 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956,and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities.

Arid Forest Research Institute (ICFRE-AFRI) is a research institute situated in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. The institute conducts scientific research in forestry in order to provide technologies to increase the vegetative cover and to conserve biodiversity in the hot arid and semi-arid regions of Rajasthan and Gujarat. It helps to provide data and information to prevent and mitigate water scarcity related problems which affect the environment and people. It operates under the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE).of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India

Maulana Azad University (MAU), is a State Private university[1] located at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. It was officially established in 2013 by Marwar Muslim Educational & Welfare Society under Rajasthan State Government Act No. 35 (2013) with the right to confer degree as per the sections 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956,[2] Maulana Azad University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. programmes in the fields of engineering & technology, science, medical science, arts, commerce, management, humanities and social science. Some of the courses are BSc, BA, MA and MSc.

Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur or IITJ) is a public technical university located in Jodhpur in the state of Rajasthan in India. IIT Jodhpur is officially recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. It is one of the eight Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India under The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011.Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur was ranked in 28th place among engineering colleges by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2024.
